Local limits
Images are limited to 24 megapixels. Video processing is limited to 15 seconds, 1280 pixels on the longest side, and 12 frames per second for PNG frame exports. Your browser's memory and codec support may impose lower limits.
Private by design
Chroma key processing runs with Canvas in this browser. The file is not sent to a server. There is no login, account, history, watermark, or batch queue.

How do I remove green screen from video?
Open a video, adjust the color and tolerance while watching the preview, then export PNG frames or WebM. PNG frames preserve transparency reliably. WebM alpha support varies by browser.
Is this also a chroma key background remover for blue screens?
Yes. Choose Blue or pick a color directly from the preview. The same controls work for any reasonably even color backdrop.
Why are some edges still green?
Increase tolerance carefully, then increase spill reduction. Edge softness blends the transition. Uneven lighting, green clothing, and fine hair can require manual editing beyond a color-key tool.
Does this green screen background editor upload files?
No. The image or video stays in your browser. Closing the page clears the working state.
